Your Personality by Day Master
Your Day Master (일간, Ilgan; 日主/日元; also called the "Day Stem") is you—the main character in your Saju story. One of the 10 Heavenly Stems defines your core, shaping how you move through the world. Yang Stems — Active and Assertive
Gap Wood (甲木) — "The Standing Bamboo"
Think towering oak, central pillar. Gap Wood people are upright leaders who don't bend once they've decided. Honest to a fault, stubborn as hell, but that same rigidity makes them trustworthy pioneers. You want them leading the charge.
Byeong Fire (丙火) — "The Blazing Sun"
The life of every party. Byeong Fire radiates—bright, passionate, impossible to ignore. Optimism flows naturally, people orbit around this energy. The risk? Impulsiveness when that fire burns too hot. Think before you leap.
Mu Earth (戊土) — "The Unshakeable Mountain"
Solid ground beneath everyone's feet. Mu Earth has capacity—it holds, stabilizes, gets things done without fanfare. Change? Not their favorite. But when everything's chaos, Mu Earth is the anchor everyone needs.
Gyeong Metal (庚金) — "The Sharp Sword"
Decisive, loyal, allergic to injustice. Gyeong Metal cuts clean—quick action, no hesitation. Military, law enforcement, surgery, anywhere precision and courage matter—that's Gyeong Metal's domain.
Im Water (壬水) — "The Deep Ocean"
Wisdom runs deep here. Im Water adapts to any vessel, flows around obstacles, thinks strategically across vast timescales. Scholars, diplomats, strategists—they often carry this signature. Calm surface, fathomless depth.
Yin Stems — Receptive and Sensitive
Eul Wood (乙木) — "Grass Swaying in Wind"
Flexible doesn't mean weak. Eul Wood bends in storms but never breaks—resilient vitality that outlasts rigid structures. They adapt while keeping essence intact. Underestimate them at your peril.
Jeong Fire (丁火) — "A Candle Lighting Darkness"
Delicate light, profound impact. Jeong Fire excels in arts, literature, academics—anywhere sensitivity and nuance matter. Small flame, deep warmth. IU (Lee Ji-eun) embodies this perfectly: subtle presence, massive influence.
Gi Earth (己土) — "Fields That Nurture All"
Receptive, meticulous, nurturing. Gi Earth feeds everyone—perfect for education, caregiving, service. Gentle exterior hides practical core. They build others up while staying grounded.
Shin Metal (辛金) — "A Shining Gem"
Refined beauty, perfectionist eye. Shin Metal obsesses over details, sees aesthetic dimensions others miss. Arts, design, craftsmanship—anywhere polish matters, Shin Metal shines.
Gye Water (癸水) — "Quietly Falling Rain"
Intuition-driven, inspiration-rich. Gye Water observes quietly, influences invisibly. Research, counseling, creative fields tap this energy—soft presence, transformative effect. Like rain: gentle arrival, everything changes after.
